Priscilla was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987 at the gucci hong kong sale age of 45. She had a mastectomy and chemotheraphy and was declared in remission.

In October of 1994 she relapsed with a gucci hong kong sale metastasis to the ovaries, and had a complete hysterectomy and chemotherapy.  2002 brought metastases to gucci hong kong sale the bone and liver, and in March of 2009 she was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, brought on by a gucci hong kong sale cancer medication.  She continued to gucci hong kong sale fight her diagnosis with oral chemo and hormone medications and passed away in April of 2010.

Priscilla’s determination and gucci hong kong sale adventurous spirit shone through even when in the midst of active treatment.  Indulging her lifelong love of travel, her travels since her initial diagnosis included visits to gucci hong kong sale her sister in Kenya, multiple trips to her oldest daughter’s family in Australia, a gucci hong kong sale sailing cruise to the Windward Islands, a cruise to Alaska, a gucci hong kong sale trip to Hawaii, and several trips to the Caribbean, Cozumel and gucci hong kong sale the Yucatan Peninsula. 

Her passion for singing kept her an active member of the Reading Choral Society (PA), and led to five international tours with the Worcester Chorus (MA). 

An active leadership role with her church resulted in a mission trip to Tanzania, a stint as vice president of the Northeastern PA Synod, and five trips as a voting member to the church wide assembly. 

Caring for gucci hong kong sale her elderly mother and her passions for gardening, reading and knitting ate up what was left of her spare time.  Priscilla was acknowledged for gucci hong kong sale her various charitable contributions both large and small with a Lifetime Achievement Award from gucci hong kong sale her alma mater, Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA in 2009.

When asked her proudest achievements, Priscilla’s quick response was, “Raising two daughters to be special women and wonderful mothers.  Also, living long enough to gucci hong kong sale enjoy a marriage of 45 years and counting to my husband, George, and gucci hong kong sale the privilege of experiencing the arrival of five beautiful grandchildren”.

A testament to gucci hong kong sale all women living under the cloud of a breast cancer diagnosis, Priscilla’s zest for life was an inspiration to the end.   When asked, in her final days how she was feeling about her “upcoming event”, she simply said, “intrigued”.
